PLACEMENT PROGRAM A copy of the student’s original School Application is provided to the placement staff for review and use in the placement process. The placement staff reviews the application for strengths and weaknesses, and makes suggestions regarding presentation of background information. The following information is also obtained during a personal placement conference between the placement counselor and the student: Type of driving preferred: Local, Regional or Long Distance. Companies interested in pursuing. Willingness to relocate. Students are required to have at least two (2) applications for employment submitted to the placement officer by the beginning of their second (2nd) week. The placement staff informs students of the steps in the placement process and keeps students informed of their progress towards successful placement. This is to make students aware of their responsibilities toward placement.
